I have interest in cooking. I have shown interest on this right from my school days. During those days I was doing something unusual, mixing this and that to dish out new varieties.




Tomato Rice

Boil the rice in the rice cooker. Take onion, tomato, green chili and coriander leaves. Cut into pieces as shown below. Take the frying pan. Add 2 table-spoons of vegetable oil (sunflower oil).

Take the 2.5 cup of raw rice (pachai arisi) and 1 cup of green gram dhal (siru paruppu) in a rice-cooker. Add 5 cups of water. Add salt (half table-spoon) as required. Cook for two whistles of rice-cooker.
